What-If Analysis for obvious challenges for Myanmar!!!

 

 

Recent strategic change in China "March West"policy would be one of the opportunity for Myanmar to establish multi-lateral diplomatic relationship with power countries. But what would happen if US led coalition would strike North Korea? What would happen if more and more Chinese-descended so call Kachin or Wa reside in Myanmar? What would happen if the conflict in Rakhine State persist and more International pressure exert on Myanmar to accept Rohinjars as Nationals?

 

Let's imagine the scenario what-if US strike N-Korea and its impact on the world order. Could it happen in our life-time? It depends.

 

According to a report posted on Foreign Policy journal, written by Yun SUN (China Analyst of ICG), the new China leaders are trying to avoid head-to-head confrontation with US in pursuing  their own interest and will adopt "March West" policy. And she also pointed out Mis-judgement of Chinese leaders on Myanmar Political Reform Process.

 

For Myanmar leadership, all from three branches of Power, have already realized  that their victory for the next term entirely depends on how clean they are, how effective & efficient they can serve for the people and how smart they are in dealing with CHINA. It is very important to materialize this approach AT ALL LEVEL of Government mechanism.

 

Energy security of China is very important but the dual pipe-line crossing Myanmar is now changing into strategic dilemma. This is the great lesson for all of us to avoid in the future not to depend on one source, in other word, judgement should be far-sighted and very clever. The old saying " There is no perpetual ENEMY or FRIEND but National Interest shall be ETERNAL" will be our guidance for all generations.

 

Concerning the controversial issue of Rakhine State, our laws has clearly stated about Myanmar national and citizens. Laws should be fair and right, shall respect minorities' RIGHTS. But asserting pressure to recognize non-eligible persons as citizens is a form of INSULT on all Myanmar people.

 

LET'S REJECT ANY FORM OF INSULT TO OUR SOVEREIGNTY!
